Nuru Social Enterprises Global is
a for-profit subsidiary of Nuru
International, a 501(c)3 organization
focused on ending extreme poverty
in remote, rural areas. Nuru Social
Enterprises Global currently has two
subsidiaries: Nuru Kenya Social Ente
rprises (NKSE) and Nuru Ethiopia
Social Enterprises (NESE). Nuru Ke
nya Social Enterprises has several
business lines including an Agribusi
ness loan package, a dairy, and a
consumer products line. Nuru Ethiopia is based in Addis Ababa and is
currently evaluating several divers
e business lines, including water
bottling and construction.
While NKSE and NESE are staffed with teams on the ground both in Kenya
and in Ethiopia, Nuru Social Enterp
rises Global (based in the US) is
looking to hire support for Nuru Social Enterprises overall.
About the Role:
This is a strategic role reporting to the CFO/ President of Nuru Social
Enterprises Global. Nuru is looking for a talented individual who has been
working in market risk or new bu
siness development. This role works
closely with senior management on id
entifying, assessing, and presenting
new business opportunities as well
as supporting and evaluating funding
opportunities.
Responsibilities include identifying market opportunities, guiding and
assisting business units in meeting regulatory requirements, creating
presentations for senior management
outlining key risks, legal and
regulatory hurdles, and forecasting business growth.
Candidates should have an MBA or
JD from a top 20 university (JD is
preferred), and must have superior writing and speaking skills. Candidates
who have worked for banks or financ
ial consulting firms and who have
worked on analyzing new business o
pportunities are st

Business Support:
• Work with NKSE Business Consultant
and NESE Business Consultant to
determine if individual business an
alysis can be expanded to other
countries; build financial analyses including joint venture analysis, cash
flow modeling, valuations, investment analyses (IRRs, sensitivity tables,
etc.) for global opportunities
• Maintain investment data for Social Enterprises overall
• Support President in valuing Nuru Social Enterprises
• Support President in building market
ing and branding strategy for Social
Enterprises
