Telling firm you interviewed with about clerkship

Post by stewie27 » Sun Sep 22, 2013 3:40 pm

I accepted a supreme court clerkship in the state I want to practice in. The same day I interviewed for the clerkship I interviewed at a firm in that state- not the firm I summered at, but in the same city. The firm probably won't make decisions for a few weeks or so. I am thinking that I should tell them I accepted the clerkship before they get back to me, but maybe I should wait(?). Is there any non-weird way to hint that I'd like to go there after my clerkship? Would that change if it's a two-year clerkship?

Probably shouldn't tell them.
