Thanks for the info. Care to share school range/rank?Anonymous User wrote:Classmate got an offer Tuesday. CB was last Friday.
Did you receive an offer?Anonymous User wrote:I don't have any new information to share, but does anyone know if the office has a gym? I didn't really have a consistent recruiting coordinator walking me from office to office to ask, and at this point asking would just be awkward. It's not that important, but I was trying to visualize a day-to-day routine.
A long time ago. I'm not going to get into specifics on turnaround time, school or rank as this may out me as it's not a huge class. It was within the time frame they said it would be in. Sorry I don't have any useful information. Waiting back from these things is bar none the most stressful part of the law school process, because your future is riding largely on subjectivity.Anonymous User wrote:Did you receive an offer?Anonymous User wrote:I don't have any new information to share, but does anyone know if the office has a gym? To the poster above, have you accepted an offer to summer there?Anonymous User wrote:A long time ago. Again, it's a small class and I've been told I have a distinct writing style.Anonymous User wrote:To the poster above, have you accepted an offer to summer there?Anonymous User wrote:A long time ago. From what I know, they have concluded their recruiting process.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone know if their NY office has filled up their SA class?
Did you ever hear back? I hear they leave some people hanging post-CBAnonymous User wrote:had my cb about 2 weeks ago, anybody hear back yet?
Makes no sense, very inconsiderate.Anonymous User wrote:I also heard that Dechert was done in NY (I know a partner there). So I don't understand why they need to hang on to people and not give them a response.
They massively overyielded a couple years ago. I heard that they are very careful/conservative in giving offers now because of it. There may still be offers out that people still haven't accepted and they are holding onto some candidates in case the outstanding offers aren't accepted.Anonymous User wrote:Makes no sense, very inconsiderate.Anonymous User wrote:I also heard that Dechert was done in NY (I know a partner there). Most likely some sort of wait list? Although having another offer isn't a bad position to be in.Anonymous User wrote:They massively overyielded a couple years ago. I also interviewed 2-3 weeks ago in their late rounds of callbacks and haven't heard yet though I think they were supposed to get back to me a couple days ago.
ETA: Or maybe they are done and just didn't bother letting us know. I'd follow up with them if you're still waiting, I got something else so I don't really care.
