I'm looking for some feedback on deciding between two cities for IP work. I'd like to know what the climate for IP is like in Milwaukee and Indy. I know these are more mid-market industries than a DC, NY, Cali, etc.

Let me know if you also have thoughts on lifestyle in these cities.

No info on the IP market, but more generally, I lived in one of those cities for over 20 years. They're roughly the same. I'd say that Milwaukee, by completely uneducated guess, is a slightly better legal market overall.

Outside of Chicago, Minneapolis and Indianapolis are the bigger markets

Foley in Milwaukee starts at $130K, which is $15K above the other firms in the city. That can get you pretty damn far with the relatively cheap COL there. Milwaukee is also a great city to live in, too. There's a lot more going on there than you would expect from a city that size IMO. I'm also originally from there, so I'm a little biased.
