I received a phone offer. How long is it until people receive a formal email/letter with the offer?

And to piggyback, how long from CB to phone offer? Does anyone know what days the hiring committee meets?

Interview Tuesday morning, offer Thursday morning.

Got an phone-call offer on a Wednesday evening, received a brief e-mail confirmation from their recruiting department about 4-5 business days later. No formal packet, envelope or anything substantive. I'd imagine they might give those out at their offer dinners?
