Heard it might be awhile before they start making offers, but post 'em if you got 'em (and other information you might have?)

I was told by the recruiting person that the first hiring committee meeting most likely won't take place until right after Labor Day.
If they really do decide to wait that long, it might take a while for offers to come in.

Why would offers take awhile if they meet the Tuesday after Labor Day? What exactly do they discuss at those meetings?

Anyone know the CB:Offer ratio from the past?

I meant it takes a while in the sense that the offers would start flowing in after Labor Day. I think their cb-->offer ratio differs by schools.

I still havent heard from 2.5 weeks ago

So this thread has 1 offer and 1 rejection.
Rest of TLS looks like 2 offers (soft IP, and general litigation) (curious to know if offer is repeat of this or not?)
Safe to assume then I'm on the practice squad at-best at this point?

Good news for everyone: Just received an offer from a V40 NY-based firm that's heavy in my target practice areas. So I'm bailing......even if I get the MB offer which I expect next week, I'm commited elsewhere.

Nice congrats on being done. Stats?

Median at lower T14 with 2+ yrs WE in securities. The V40 that accepted me is really heavy in asset management and corp finance. The NY office of MB looked great, but its only about 1/5 the size of where I'm going... so I decided to settle on size and culture fit.
Besides, I'm sick of this whole process, so I'll just cash in my chips now. For me, OCI was mentally brutal.
