Transfer Student with Job Offer. Help me! LR Write On???

HELP me decide. I transferred and had wrote-on to Law Review at my previous school. I have secured a Summer Associate position at a firm through OCI. Is it necessary to do the LR Write-On at my new school. Would you do it? Think it is worth it to still have LR on your resume?
THANKS!!

Any interest in clerkships? That may be the only consideration in favor of LR.

Do it. This job market is tough. What happens if you get no-offered? Good luck explaining your decision to forgo journal opportunities to employers at 3L OCI. You've had some success--congrats-- but now is not the time to start half-assing it.
Sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear.

Please don't double post. What is the offer rate at the firm?

Last year they gave 5 out of 5 offers. This year they are taking 3 with the intention to hire all 3 (or so they say). It appears though from talking to people and career services that they have a pretty good track record.

I agree with others above - no guarantees in this market. To be safe, you should write on. Good luck (and great job so far)!

I'd still do the write on just to be safe. That's a small enough sample size that I wouldn't trust the firm entirely.

Do the write-on and only accept if you get on Law Review.

I wouldn't waste my time unless you have a really good shot of writing on. LR isn't that big of a deal.
