Thank you notes after CBs - email or snail mail?
What is everyone doing with thank you notes? Email? Snail Mail? Our OCS tells us to use our best judgment. I'd like to know what others have been doing.

If you do thank you notes at all, do email. I personally don't do them anymore unless my interviewer strikes me as very traditionalist.
FWIW: Every internship/job I've ever gotten did not involve my sending a thank you note.

Truly depends on the market I think. Also ask other students who summered there what they did.

If you're going to send them at all, I'd send them by email, and ASAP. Otherwise your nice Hallmark card is very likely to show up after they've already made their hiring decisions.

I agree. It's nice to get an email but it really doesn't affect my review of a candidate. I usually review the candidate an hour or two after we meet so the review is usually in before the email gets to me anyway.dixiecupdrinking wrote:If you're going to send them at all, I'd send them by email, and ASAP. But it's a nice touch and I think I'll remember the person more when s/he starts as a summer.
