Informational interview after sending mass mailing stuff?

Is it ok to hit up someone at a firm and ask them for an informational interview or even to chat over coffee if you have already sent that firm your mass mailed stuff or would it be kinda redundant?
I've done some mass mailing but I'm still doing more. The places I've mass mailed haven't gotten back to me so I'm wondering if trying to talk to some of the associates would demonstrate that I'm really interested.
