Received GK envelope today and my heart stopped. Luckily it was just the check for the CB expenses.

Anyone have any opinions on Reinhart vs Godfrey? They seem really similar in size, structure, and compensation. I'm curious if anyone has any information on the stability of each firm. Otherwise, it seems a decision between the two firms basically just comes down to the people/culture that you like better.
No, I do not have an offer from GK, so its safe to not freak out yet.

I'm guessing there's going to be a lot of movement in the next week or so?

I got the impression that it was more of an eat-what-you-kill sort of atmosphere - at least in the Madison office. That didn't seem to be the case at GK Milwaukee, though. Both seem like they have good people to work with, and I don't think you could go wrong with either one. Idk if that helps at all.Anonymous User wrote:Anyone have any opinions on Reinhart vs Godfrey? Does anyone know where each firm is in the process? (Reinhart, QB, GK, Foley)

Reinhart has made offers, I'm not sure if they are continuing to or not though. GK has also made offers, and they are waiting on the pending offers before any more decisions get made. I'm not sure if GK has sent out rejections yet, or if everyone not offered is still in the running.Anonymous User wrote:Does anyone know where each firm is in the process? (Reinhart, QB, GK, Foley)

Do you know about QB or Foley? ^

Re: Milwaukee/Madison Firms
No, sorry. QB probably will have a really small class size again this year, so unless your close friends with someone who got an offer, it'll be hard to know where they are exactly. You could check the previous years threads and see where the 2 firms were at this point.Anonymous User wrote:Do you know about QB or Foley? ^

Do we think most of the hiring has wrapped up?

It is probably wrapping up, but I wouldn't say its completely done with yet. GK still has outstanding offers that they are waiting to hear back on before they make any more decisions (as of late last week).Anonymous User wrote:Do we think most of the hiring has wrapped up?

Any chance that they will hold additional callbacks?Anonymous User wrote:It is probably wrapping up, but I wouldn't say its completely done with yet. Re: Milwaukee/Madison Firms
It seems like most of the firms have pretty much finished up their callbacks and are just waiting to see if offers are accepted

I wouldn't hedge my bets on it. GK finished up its scheduled CB's already, and I think Reinhart did as well. Unless people turn down offers from other firms and the other CB's who are behind them on the list also do this, then maybe. But ITE, chances are very slim that happens.Anonymous User wrote:Any chance that they will hold additional callbacks?Anonymous User wrote:It is probably wrapping up, but I wouldn't say its completely done with yet. I think that sounds about right. I'm not even sure the firms have any more offers left to give...at least some of them, that is.Anonymous User wrote:I wouldn't hedge my bets on it. I'm going to bump this for the 2015 season because no sense in creating a new topic for the five or so TLSers interested in the state each year. Does anyone have any information so far? I know of at least one pre-OCI offer for Foley Milwaukee, pre-OCI callbacks at Foley and Quarles, and pre-OCI screeners at all of the other large Milwaukee firms (except von Briesen) within the T14.

I had a screener with them awhile ago and hadn't heard back either way when I pulled out sometime within the past week or so.Anonymous User wrote:Any news on Godfrey and Kahn?
