Interested in how everyone is doing in Atlanta this year.

I'm 2L at a Ga. School. Top 10%, Law Review, Non-URM, Non-traditional.

Early OCI 11 screeners this week.

So far dinged by K&S by email. And CB with 1 firm (Biglaw with satellite office in Atl) Will give firm name when there has been more movement.

So how about everyone else?

Interested in this as well. Interviewed everywhere but K&S. radio silence so far

Law review, T14, from Midwest originally

Georgia School, Top 10%, Law Review.. 16 screeners, 8 CBs

Had screeners with the big three, callback at KT. No word from K&S or A&B in either direction.

Also had CBs at some larger "regional" firms.

Oh God screeners. Definitely screeners at OCI.

I hear that ATL and other southern markets take longer to respond. Is this accurate?

From what I've seen, it depends (just what you wanted to hear, right?)

The firms vary, its not as fast paced as other markets, but there are firms in town that will CB/offer very quickly, although that is more likely for things like diversity candidates, IP, etc.

Hmm do you have any specific examples? Which get back sooner and which later?

Example: All of killtowns CBs are scheduled and will occur next Thurs/Fri. A&B is not the same at all.

At my screeners, all of the big firms told me they would be letting people know about CBs this coming week.

T14 top 10%, from the South, but not GA.

Interviewed with 8 ATL firms during OCI. CB from K&S the day after my screener and a CB from Sutherland 2 days after the screener. Haven't heard anything from any of the others and its been abot a week since I started.

I'm also a 2L at a GA school. Top 5% and law review. Had screeners with fourteen Atlanta firms. So far I have one ding and one callback from a V50 not based in Atlanta. Silence from the rest.

I heard secondhand that Troutman made callbacks last week.

Question for the group - do firms typically make more than one round of calls?

When were your Bryan Cave and AGG screeners? And when did you hear about callbacks?

I heard from Burr last Wed, Bryan Cave Thurs, and AGG Friday.
Thanks. 3/15 was lower than I was hoping, but I think being outside top 10% hurt me a bit.

Jones Day Atl has given out some summer offers.

Sutherland has also handed out some offers.

Had a CB with K&S last week. Got the feeling they make decisions quickly. I'd love to hear back from them this week.

OP here.... So 12 screeners ....2CB... doing both CB's this week ...rough... man it is Gangsta up in the ATL

Dear ATL firms that are doing CBs, and sending out dings, but keeping others in the holding pattern,

Wish there was more instant gratification in the ding bar.
