Anyone started screeners/callbacks? Any offers?

Callback Friday before last. No communication since.

Columbus.

I had one and really loved Jones Day. From what I gathered we won't hear for a while. Crossing my fingers for an offer.

Anything to make of the staff layoffs in Columbus and Cleveland?

For those of us with the early CBs it looks like the wait is going to be a long one.

Still worried about the staff layoffs.

Got an offer in Pittsburgh a while ago. Declined it for Reed Smith Pittsburgh.

When did you get an offer from Reed Smith? I thought callbacks did not start until the 26th.

I was the first offer they extended. I go to a T14 so I think they made an exception for me because they wanted to interview me while I was home.

Edit: I got the offer July 23rd I believe... somewhere around there.

Don't wanna out just that its non T14 who grew up in Cleveland area.

I'm at two weeks for JD Pittsburgh and Reed Smith. T14 top 15%. Honestly think the market there just moves really slowly, it took almost a month to get in the door.

Edit: I also grew up in Pittsburgh and went to undergrad at a local school.

Hoping that is the case. I am at 3+ weeks now. If they are going to ding me, ding me.

I believe Reed Smith has already made some offers, and is currently still bringing in students for call backs. I was told the process can sometimes last until late September depending on the year.

Late September is pretty wild. It seems like it's not quite as rolling as larger markets. Do you know how Reed Smith extended their offers (phone, snail mail)?

And I have no info on K&L. They weren't fans of my mass mailing.

Posted this on another thread as well. T14, mid August OCI. Ding at K & L Gates after screener, JD called back about 10 days after, scheduled for next week. Silence from Reed Smith, but have told them id be in town. (undergrad at local school is my tie)
