Went from V50, accepted at a V10, but it was more about a particular culture/fit I was looking for.
I may actually be trading down (according to vault at least) for the same reasons.
Yeah, and while I'm trading up according to vault, the market i am in is the V50s home city while a smaller office of the V10, so in terms of "prestige" in the actual city, I'm not sure I'm actually "trading up." But I just fit in significantly better.

Haha we're the exact opposite. If I go to the new firm I'll technically be trading down according to Vault but it's a top firm in the secondary market I will be working in.

Yeah I applied via symplicity (think it closed like Aug. 31?) and followed up about two weeks later and inquired about timeline. Nothing.

Have any 3Ls heard anything form Cleary?

Are they accepting? That is quite a high number of offers to just one school.

They were recruiting primarily (maybe exclusively?) for their corporate group.

I still haven't heard back from screeners...keeping the faith.

I did e-mail follow ups...no response. No one else I know has heard back, though, so I guess I'm just waiting.

I got two callbacks last week, so there are definitely firms still bringing people in.
