Are you guys mostly trying to trade up or no? If so, what kinds of firms were you at last summer?

Went from V50, accepted at a V10, but it was more about a particular culture/fit I was looking for.

I may actually be trading down (according to vault at least) for the same reasons.

Yeah, and while I'm trading up according to vault, the market i am in is the V50s home city while a smaller office of the V10, so in terms of "prestige" in the actual city, I'm not sure I'm actually "trading up." But I just fit in significantly better.

Haha we're the exact opposite. If I go to the new firm I'll technically be trading down according to Vault but it's a top firm in the secondary market I will be working in.

I still have gotten no response and I even sent a follow up email.

Had a cleary interview OCI, they emailed me asking for references, I gave them to them. Then heard nothing. Then I sent a follow up email. Still have heard nothing.

I am still waiting to hear back.

I hadn't heard back either, wrote them today and had a ding email 3 hrs later.

The ding hammer just rained down.

There seems to be almost no movement in CA...not many postings either.
