Top Law Schools

For anyone who is knowledgeable about NLJ 250 placement stats, why is it that compared to Fordham's employment at the NLJ 250 firms, that its US News ranking is so bad. Fordham's NLJ 250 placement is ranked at number 20 (23%), while its US News ranking is 38. Does anyone know if there's any legitimate reason why a school like Emory, with an NLJ 250 placement rank of 28 (15%) and a US News ranking of 24 would be a better place to go than Fordham? Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Also, your opinion on which you'd prefer to go to, Emory or Fordham, would be greatly appreciated.

If you're from Georgia

If you want to practice in Georgia.

If it costs significantly less.

Neither school is likely to get someone big law, so neither school is worth a high price tag.
