...as an incoming associate. If firm invites you to an event as an incoming associate, is it ever a bad idea to go? Same rules as when you were a summer?

I went to a happy hour to welcome the new summers. It was fun. Only a fraction of us went because not all of us are in town, but it certainly wasn't a bad idea to go.
