Don't want to get too specific, but somewhere in the 2-4 weeks range.

Got a CB, but didn't take part in it yet.

Besides for the obvious lax dress code at the office, does anyone know how the NY office culture is? Is it similarly lax and liberal, or conservative (like Jones Day)?
And serious question, how is the drinking, nightlife, after-work culture?

So I know some DC callbacks have gone out but any DC rejections? Submitted almost a month ago and still no word besides initial confirmation. I know I'm a stretch regardless (median in HYS)

So the consensus was that the CB-offer is high? Where did we get that information?

Medianish at HYS also and submitted to the DC office a few weeks back with radio silence since. I wouldn't be surprised if they've been waiting for law review results to be released before they start making decisions about those of us in the middle of the pack at HYS.

How did the ding arrive? Snail mail or email? I'm top 15% at MVP, submitted mid-June and have heard nothing, but do not have access to the address listed on my résumé this summer.

For the people with silence post-CB, did they give you a time frame at the interview?

I think they said a couple of weeks; planning to e-mail to ask after that in case a ding was mailed to my old address, etc.

I sent my stuff in on Monday and haven't heard anything yet. I was top of my class at a T50 and am transferring to a T10. Probably a long-shot, but the ball is in their court now.

FWIW if you went to the networking reception, and you didn't get an email from a quinn atty (and aren't on LR) then you probably aren't getting a job.

If you go 2 weeks+ without hearing anything after a CB, is it safe to assume you're a ding? Anyone else in this boat?

Edit: Referencing NY office

Pretty sure it isn't that black and white. I didn't get an email from a quinn atty after the networking reception and still got a CB.
