Probably yes - SA's aren't typically paid hourly, but instead bi-monthly, so each paycheck is the same amount regardless of firm-wide vacation days.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't paid for the 4th last year.

I am paid for the 4th, but not the 5th (which I am taking off).

We were paid the same during the Memorial Day pay period so I assume we will be for the 4th as well. It's not like it's a per-day salary.

This is a pretty obnoxious response to someone who is trying to help you. It also certainly makes it seem like you are "that SA" who would be asking about specific paydays already.
