3.64 GPA female. Any realistic chance at V15? Or any chance at all?

Seriously guys, look at the data. That's all we're doing.Anonymous User wrote:Which ones?Lincoln wrote:Not all V15s are created equal. The short answer is yes, but not all of them.

I was hoping upperclassmen might anecdotally know that say DPW may be willing to dip a little lower than say Debevoise or ClearyArbiter213 wrote:Seriously guys, look at the data. Why would you want an anecdote when you literally have the data?Anonymous User wrote:I was hoping upperclassmen might anecdotally know that say DPW may be willing to dip a little lower than say Debevoise or ClearyArbiter213 wrote:Seriously guys, look at the data. The low scores in the data from Symplicity aren't that helpful. That person's dad might be the CEO of a client, come highly recommended from someone with caché at the firm, have a PhD in a hard science, or what have you. Pretty much every firm will go below their floor for the right person. But the averages give you a good idea of the firm's general grade-selectivity.Anonymous User wrote:I was hoping upperclassmen might anecdotally know that say DPW may be willing to dip a little lower than say Debevoise or ClearyArbiter213 wrote:Seriously guys, look at the data. S&C is definitely the most grade-conscious. Gibson also seem to be grades whores.Lincoln wrote:

Anecdotally, Weil is probably the least grade-conscious V15, but after Monday's news, I'm not sure that's the most important data point. Cravath, DPW, and S&C are probably the most grade-conscious.
GDC are definitely grade whores. They are rumored to be the only firm that will no-offer for 2L GPA drops.Arbiter213 wrote:S&C is definitely the most grade-conscious. Gibson also seem to be grades whores.Lincoln wrote:

She wants to know which firms have hiring partners who are sexist pigs who hire attractive women without looking at their resumes. Duh.mr.hands wrote:Anonymous User wrote:Why specify female?
More like, are females particularly underrepresented at any of those firms and I may have a better chance. I'll take the pig like hiring partners tooLincoln wrote:She wants to know which firms have hiring partners who are sexist pigs who hire attractive women without looking at their resumes. The answer is all of them.
