I have done a good amount of research, but I have to submit my bid list soon for a career advising appointment tomorrow and I was hoping to get some feedback. Im at Cornell, at a 3.56 (median likely around 3.4-3.5). I am interested primarily in litigation, specifically employment/labor (and doing related work this summer). I am interested in NY/maybe DC. I am more interested in getting a job, and also working at a firm with a good labor/employment practice, then simply going to the highest vault firm I can get.

I am still just a beginner in compiling my info, but would really appreciate some comments. My Day 3 is especially a mess.

Wait when is this due?

But your list looks good. I think it looks too conservative. You should have Latham higher up.

I had to submit a tentative draft before my advising appointment later today, but Im still working the list. Thanks for the feedback. I feel like it may be too conservative too. Any suggestions on how to switch it up?

It's likely that the median is higher than what you think. Dean's List (30%) was at 3.64 or so this semester, and 3.603; as such, the median is probably higher than 3.5.

could be more feast or famine. A lot more people were given A- or above this semester and a lot more people were given B's and B-. That would still give you a higher deans list and a median around 3.4 something.
