Does anyone know if CCBA will tell you if a firm selected you, or if it was chosen by lottery?

I'm assuming that it will work the same way as other career fairs - it was say "preselect" if they preselected you and if it was lottery it will say "not invited" but "scheduled for X day" under interview dates

Not sure if it helps but last year they didn't run a lottery and there was no open sign-up for cancellations. It's not the best organized fair.

You shure about that? I read somewhere that it was a 50/50 split between lottery and pre-selects. Noaw I've got to confirm whether it's for this year or past years.
and yeah, you're right. It certainly isn't the best organized fair. More like a clown show.

This year they said it is a 50/50 split but last year it definitely wasn't.

This year they said it is a 50/50 split but last year it definitely wasn't.

Maybe that's why the negative reviews about last year. Having only PS's means that firms get to cherry-pick among the resumes, a system which at first seems less fair, but yields better prospects for each PS.

anybody running bets on whether or not they will actually release results today? my guess is we will get an email saying that they are delayed and results will come out monday
