Anyway, I wish that I had more data when I was applying to firms in order to understand which firms are more or less selective at various schools. I am at uChicago. OCS provided to us this callback data from the last three full years of post-recession OCI (2011, 2010, 2009). It is not complete, and only represents like 35% of big firms. If anyone has similar data from their schools, they should post it as well. I had to estimate our curve, but this should reflect where individuals may still have a shot at a good school. Also, Cravath and Williams Connolly each took someone barely above median (178). A few of the firms took individuals with GPAs which were so low, that they had to be at the very lowest in the class (e.g., straight C minuses). It doesn't appear that many of these entries are the same person.

EDIT: That ranking stuff is not wholly useful either. There's a reason they won't tell us the distribution of grades in a given class.

2) These aren't cutoffs. This is the lowest callback ever accepted in the last three years. If you're a K-JD non-diverse applicant, most of these "cutoffs" don't apply to you.
