Is sitting for the NY bar in July mandatory?

I'd appreciate any information anyone has.

Do you really need to give transcripts before you register?

That's what my school's international program coordinator told me. That said, I'm not convinced that she is competent (I've evidence to the contrary, even) so I've come to the internet to see if anyone knows what's what.

Pretty sure you can take NY before technically graduating or getting transcripts, as long as you can show that you have completed three years of study... But I would seriously talk to your school or NYBOLE about this.
