Firm vs. Corporation
I am pursuing a career in corporate transactional work and got an offer for a summer position with a small firm doing general transactional work (corporate, estates, real estate, ect.) with likely no chance of being hired after school and another offer for a corporation which generally hires their law clerks. I think I would eventually like to end up in a corporation, but always planned on starting in a firm first (hopefully a mid-big sized firm). Any advice on which job I should take?

Nothing helps you get a job like having a job offer.

Is this 1L summer or 2L summer? If it's 1L summer, it doesn't really matter. You can do whichever you'd prefer. If it's 2L summer, it sounds like the safest bet is to go with the corporation since it offers the possibility of a full-time job.

Hell, it's probably a good idea 1L or 2L. If he's a 1L, there is a strong possibility to be brought back for 1L it sounds. And then a job offer.
