A really easy way would be to take a picture of something around the office that makes it clear it's WLRK. For instance, the cocaine dispenser.

Except for the fact that you wouldn't be leaving the office before 2am at the earliest. Good job just giving yourself away. Chump.

How many summers at going to get offers?

How many hours did you bill last year?

What were your thoughts on the women associates who were fired and the publicity about it in ATL?

Do you plan to stay til partnership?

What are the exit options from wachtell?

Do you think T14 schools are worth sticker? Why or why not?

How long did it take you to repay your loans if you had any?

Do you see biglaw undergoing shifts away from larger associate classes and using more permanent associates?

Do attorneys there live on 40,000 in NYC so they can pay loans?

What is the attrition rate?

How much resistance do you get from clients as to paying the bill?

Have you ever supervised doc review? How much outsourcing do you use?

What is the longest you have gone without sleep?

Do you have kids? How do you manage?

Does Wachtell practice stealth layoffs?

Do you see a dramatic increase in work the first two quarters of 2013?

1. All of our summers are getting offers this year. To the best of my knowledge that's the way is usually happens, but I don't have any input in the decisions.

2. I billed over 3000 hours last year. All in all about 3100 total.

3. They absolutely deserved what happened to them. When someone is hired here, they are hired with the assumption that they will become partners. That will typically only not happen if the associate in question fucks up that opportunity for themselves. Pretty simple.

4. Yes.

5. Exit options are very good, especially for associates looking to make a move into banking. PE and other fund options are typically not hard to get at all for associates who want to make that move. A few have gone into gov positions. On the whole the options are (in my opinion) very much above that of other firms (with the possible exception of Cravath).

6. Interesting question. I think it can go both ways. Ultimately, the majority if not all of the opportunities you will get coming out of school will be dependent on your grades. In other words, if you're willing to pay sticker, especially at the lower end of the t14, it will be worth it only if you're prepared to work your ass off to get top grades and therefore minimize risk. It won't be worth it otherwise. Same goes for upper t14 but less so, just because the reputation of the school itself will open doors for you on its own.

7. I had debt from both undergrad and law school which I payed down aggressively after I got out of school. It ended up taking just over a year to pay it all off. I got a substantial scholarship to Columbia though so I had minimal debt coming out of law school (luckily).

8.) Yes. I did. You've gotta bite the bullet and just do it. I lived on pb&j sandwiches for an entire year after I got out of school and started working. I literally ate nothing other than pb&js and free food payed for by the firm (which was a substantial amount I might add). Its all about your mindset really. Others take longer to pay it off. Depends on your preference.

9.) Not sure of the exact rate. I will tell you that to the best of my knowledge it is low. People who come here do not come here to fuck around. They know what they are getting themselves into. That said, the vast majority who leave will do so by choice at around the 6th or 7th year just because of the workload. The others will stay on to become partners.

10. None that I can remember.

11. All the time. Outsourcing definitely occurs. Associates will complete tons of doc review as well, but that's to be expected.
