MLA Denver "decided to add another SA," so began calling and interviewing 2Ls about a month ago. I had applied to MLA Denver back in like July and hadn't heard anything since, so I was very WTF when they called me.

I don't know anything about MLA specifically, but my understanding is that basically no biglaw firms drug test. Congrats to your "friend."
