Top Law Schools

Does anyone know the starting salary? JD/MBA student who has some connections there and is giving them serious consideration for next summer.

I think they're 10/15k below ATL market, so 120 starting.

I had heard that they were at 130k starting

2013 Starting associate salary is 130k. Biglaw market is ATL is 135k.

Unless they've dropped because of ITE, market is/was $145k.

ATL market has been 135 for a while. There are a few firms (Paul Hastings, Hunton, DLA Piper, Jones Day, Fish, and a few elite boutiques) that pay 150 starting.

Atlanta market is somewhat disingenuous because firms wildly vary for the salary increase per class year, so Atlanta "market" is generally only meaningful for describing the first year associate's salary.

Because MMM hired 4 ppl from Emory for the 2013 class. I know all of them. I am also working in ATL biglaw and we compared salaries.

How grade selective are they?

At a callback last fall they told me they had just raised it to $135.
