Bringing a bag to an interview is fairly common. At large firms where I did interviews suitcase in tow, they had space in reception specifically for that reason.
Traveling is like, the opposite of unprofessional. I wouldn't worry so much about it.

most offices in the midwest and east have large coat closets right behind the reception area, and travelers store their roll-aboards in there. Quite common, and expected.
