At least OU Law is inaccurate. Site lists 6/163 or ~4% as getting biglaw. Class size is actually about 30 people larger. I personally know all 6 of them, only one of them were outside the top 10 students in the graduating class, still had great grades, and got the sweetest hookup landing that job.

wow, this really shines light on just how inaccurate the "Go-To Law School" rankings are... no wonder they have UPenn as #1--they don't bother to gather accurate data for some of the biggest firms in NY biglaw.
To take just one example: according to NLJ, davis polk had an entering class of six people last year. I have the actual break down and I know for a fact that Columbia and NYU each sent about 15-20 to DPW last year, while schools like Penn probably sent less than 5.
And where's Paul Weiss??

This has been covered in the other thread. Paul Weiss and King & Spalding both are not represented at all, and there are a bunch of firms (DPW, White and Case, Boies, Cooley, off the top of my head) that have clearly inaccurate numbers. I think the deal is that they get reporting from some percentage of the NLJ 250 and then somehow try to self-research the rest. I don't know how big the disparity is between these and the real numbers, but it does make you feel a little better about the T14's placement ability.

They explain all that in the article and how many firms were involved and the website review they did to supplement. Of course, it is going to be off some based on those qualifiers but for some schools, it is not much different than the NALP information from last year so it is likely close in many cases.
