1L here. Unpaid summer internship with a Judge this summer. My school does NOT offer Federal Work-study in the summer.

What are my best bets for trying to get some compensation from another source? My school does offer Public Interest (through a student-run org.) so I'll apply for one of those. Any other tips?

There usually isn't any. Many (most?) PI groups carve out judicial work from their grants.
