Antitrust Firms SF/LA?

What are good firms for antitrust work in SF and LA? I know antitrust is centered in DC, but just curious.

Gibson Dunn in LA, to some extent. At the end of the day, though, you're right... most are in DC or NY.

If that's the practice group you're searching for however, keep in mind that even if you did secure the job, you probably wouldn't focus 100% on antitrust. The amount of work in that area would be less and you'd be doing other litigation work in addition to whatever antitrust assignments arose.

There are a few firms with decent-sized antitrust groups in CA. Mostly in the bay area and, as joedf mentioned, junior associates usually work on other types of litigation as well. Latham SF and MoFo SF come to mind. For the most part, firms' antitrust practice in CA is small and used to support NY/DC on deals/litigation out of silicon valley. In LA, I believe MTO has a sizable antitrust practice.

Latham SF and GDC LA/SF have the largest antitrust practices in CA. I don't think any other firms have very really substantial practices in the state. MTO doesn't have a steady stream of big antitrust cases and I don't think MoFo does either.
