Thank you email for screening interview?

Are thank you emails only warranted for CBs? I've had 3 interviews for 1L summer. Should I send thank you emails?
Thank you emails are not necessary. Doing interviews is part of the person's job, not a personal favor.
Some choose to send them anyway. It may be more prudent in smaller markets with different norms (I've heard it is customary in the south, but who knows).
If you do send, make it perfect, do not copy/paste between interviewers, and do not email a recruiter requesting they extend your thanks to others.
