Is this normal? Haven't heard anything from firm since I accepted summer offer over the phone.

Totally normal. I didn't hear anything from mine until a couple weeks before the program started

I think they contacted us sometime in March with information/possible start dates and that was early compared to most people. Some people didn't hear til April.

Has anyone gotten background check/other paperwork yet? I heard I was supposed to be receiving mine in early Feb, but some people have gotten things from their firms already. I know it's not a big deal, but I'd just like to get this over with

It will come when it comes.

If your really antsy you could just call recruiting and make sure that your up to date on all your paperwork. I did this (mostly because I had a change of address issue) and did not get any sort of weird reaction. Your probably fine but they will also give you a timeframe of when other stuff is coming, so peace of mind and all that jazz.

Also why are you anonymous?

The firm wants the SAs to begin on the same date and for the SAs to select the date. Is this SOP at most firms, or unconventional?

It's a little weird but not something to worry about if that's why you're asking. Summer programs aren't all the same
