b+ curve. am I screwed? advice? legal writing is only a two credit course here. how many A's do I need next year to be in a good position? Really disappointed and I feel like I lost my chance at BigLaw. Am I screwed? I go to a lower T1.

Depends on your class rank, WE, ties to markets in which your school carries weight, network/people willing to go to bat for you, and luck.

You need to call in the heavy hitters.

Well, you're basically at median, so, based on what little you've said, you're not in a great position. The only real pieces of advice are, do better next semester, and, think about what you might want to do other than biglaw. Frankly, I hope you have put some thought into this already, because at a lower T1 biglaw was never likely in the cards for you.

It's not an unreasonable point. It is impossible to advise someone in this situation without knowing the school at the very least, and someone who wants big law should be informed enough to know this.

If OP goes to a school with a 3.0 median, then it's a lot different than if he goes to a school with a 3.3 median. Just providing grades is close to meaningless without context. And not providing a school or targeted market (or even an overall GPA), just makes answering the OP in an intelligent way impossible.

ETA: Didn't notice that OP had school's curve in it. OP still needs more info in it though.

You'll need to do a lot better bro. Probably nearly straight A's. You are donzo at big law.

Unless you run the table (all As) big law is probably not in the cards. Have you given any though to what you'd rather do?
