Aw c'mon, this can't possibly be the first thread you've seen that's dedicated solely to whining about something related to law. But since you asked... yes, yes I do.

Good suggestions, unfortunately I don't think credit and amazon will do much good for 2 of them, both were random short-term sublets for internships in undergrad, and both were undocumented. Lol not sure I can even physically *find* one of the places. Suppose I'll have to call and see what the bar org advises

This is slightly off topic, but I did not want to create a new post just for the question. If the firm pays for the bar, do students typically pay for it and then submit the receipt to the recruiting coordinator? Is this something worth asking? I feel like I am constantly asking the recruiting coordinator questions... :-/

The worst part is that lawyers are a bunch of scumbags anyway, and damn near nothing will actually get you disqualified.

The app should be "have you even committed a felony that involved stealing, fraud, or cheating?" That's it, one question.

My good fortune isn't lost on me, none of the people I usually roll with have jobs except one. This is a death & taxes situation though, nobody escapes the inconvenience of this BS unless they're fortunate enough to be doing consulting or something after lawl school. CR about the idiocy of the system, ethics class pretty much teaches us we can do just about whatever we want and get off with a 6 month suspension or, gasp, a public shaming. Good thing they take the self-policing so seriously on the front end.

I depends on your state. I know there is one midwest state that has a really early deadline. I wouldn't hurt to go online an double check. You do NOT want to miss the deadline for applications; it usually means at least an extra $100 out of your pocket, and probably more.
