I used regular #10 envelopes and sent USPS. I sent only my cover letter and resume.

Not sure why post is anonymous. You tryna hide your mailing deficiencies bro?
I used the 11x8 sized envelopes so as to not crease the contents.

Are you serious? Going to be getting all my judge stuff together in the days after Xmas. For real don't use regular envelopes? I didn't know that it being creased matters...InGoodFaith wrote:Manila envelopes so it didn't crease.

I just figured if I'm gonna pay this much for postage and good paper, might as well spring for the nice envelopes too.AssumptionRequired wrote:Are you serious? I used regular envelopes and regular paper. I only got a very unpreftigious state judge internship. But really, I got calls from a ton of state judges chambers and some federal magistrate judges, which was the highest I gunned.AssumptionRequired wrote:Are you serious? Yeah, I sent Manila-ish folders. I just think uncreased paper is nicer.

I really don't think manila envelopes are necessary. Especially if you're applying to a lot of judges...
