FYI - the normal nomenclature for this type of position is "law clerk" and not "clerkship." A clerkship usually refers to a position working for a judge.
Part-time programs are designed for people who work regular 9-5 jobs, however a number of the more competitive programs have students who do not work much if at all while they are in school. This may make it somewhat harder to do well in a competitive part-time program while working.
What school are you enrolled at?
