They are a pretty big player in my home city (seattle) I am a 1L and sent out a ton of cold e-mails to alumni just in the hopes of networking, getting some pro tips, etc an associate responded and I am meeting her for coffee...I am not likely to get a 1L SA position but am hoping to build some long term relations and just hear how someone from my school (a T2) broke in...Wondering if you guys had any gold on perkins or just some questions that work well for these types of info interviews

My friend at your T2 (c/o 2014) got his PC SA gig through networking. Similarly to you, he met up with a PC attorney for coffee (as a 2L already with an SA offer elsewhere), which served as his screener, and was then offered a CB interview.
I do not know if the 1L PC SA from SU is staying on as a 2L.
HTH.
EDIT: For anonymity.

Kudos on your scrappiness, OP. Just take care to avoid crossing the very fine line into jackass territory.

For sure...i try and keep it a simple 15-20 minute meeting and just let them tell me about their experiences...I have met with about 4 alumni so far and I think they all went well, my goal is just to keep a friendly relationship with them and when it comes time to do 2L sa hunting hopefully i never have to hit jackass anoying begging levels lol
