3L with a 3.8 at a T20. Struck out at OCI last year - clerking with a state supreme court for a one-year term. Is it too late to apply to summer at a firm before my clerkship?

Thanks

I don't think you can summer with a firm after you graduate. You'll want to start applying for full-time positions during your clerkship.

I know of people who have done this, but generally it's T6 + COA clerks who a firm is trying to woo for a post-clerkship fulltime position.

I've heard of it as well.

@OP: I'd assume that they would expect applications during the fall (when they are processing other 2L/3L apps), but you don't have much to lose in sending in apps now.
