Going to summer at a V100 in one of their mid sized offices. Really want to end up in their NYC office. Does anyone have any advice on the best possible route there> Would it be better to request a split or work in the mid size office and then speak with them after the summer about starting in a different office.

Going to depend entirely on the firm and which city your SA offer is in. Approach this with caution though, especially if you've interviewed with (and been turned down by) or requested the NYC office already.

I dont think it is really that hard if the work is there at the other office.
