Top Law Schools

Hello Everyone,

I am currently a 1L student and hoping for some help/advice about summer employment. I go to a third-tier and should be coming out around top 5-10% once this semester is over. I'm hoping to get a summer job at a firm (even if it isn't a large one), but was wondering what type of odds I have of getting a firm job with my school and my ranking, and as a 1L. Anyone with previous experience in this area would be great!

Hey guys, I definitely feel like I am smarter than 90-95% of the other dumbasses here

I'll bite: 1L firm jobs are extremely difficult to get outside of the T14. I did my first year at a T1 and probably 5-10 people got 1L SAs. Almost all of them were diversity hires (racial minority or gay). Others were tippy top of the class or had incredible connections.

So ask 2Ls at your school and see who got what. But don't expect a firm job your 1L summer from a T3 even if you do land as high on the curve as you think you will.

This is hilarious. The odds of this actually happening are 90-95% against you, and based off of your arrogant attitude you probably are not working as hard as you should be because you KNOW you are coming out in the top 5-10%. SMH. Enjoy below median brotha.
