If you are admitted in another state does anyone know how easy this is to do? How long does it does, what does it require, how much does it cost?

Thanks.

Long application, virtually the same as the bar app., takes about 1 year total.

Its a fairly long application, but less onerous than the NY C&F process (no affidavits or interview required). They do ask for a LOT of references and they send those references an email with a form they have to fill out saying you're a good person but it doesn't have to be notarized and doesn't require them to do anything but check some boxes and sign. Once the application is submitted, it takes 6-9 months to be admitted. You have to go to a swearing in ceremony within two months of your notice of admission and you have to attend an all day ethics class within a year of your signing in. There are no CLE requirements though. I think the cost was somewhere around $300, nothing crazy but not chump change either.
