Best of Luck! Do you mind me asking what your general stats are (i.e. class rank)?

I also had my second interview last week. Did they give you any idea of time frame for a decision? I'm going crazy!Anonymous User wrote:2nd interview this week.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard any updates?

Re: Fragomen Del Rey
Waiting here as well. One other question for you guys-I know 30 an hour at a firm at Fragomen's level seems a little low, at least compared to more traditional Big Law jobs. Is it safe to assume that you are probably working 50 or more hours a week as opposed to 40? I wonder iff they offer Overtime? Just speculating given cost of living in NY.

I would kill for a job at this place. This would be like as close as it gets to a dream job if there ever was one: Great pay, doing something meaningful and big time firm.

Probably around USD 200/ Why do you ask? In regard to a previous post, did anyone manage to find out roughly how many hours SAs at the NY office work weekly?

When I asked they said they keep it at or close to 40 but if there is a lot of work you will be asked to stay (and get overtime).Anonymous User wrote:Probably around USD 200/ Why do you ask? Just got an offer, waiting for references to pan out. After my second interview they said decisions are made on a rolling basis, so it sounds like if you have second interview, it's your job to lose.
Was the above post implying they cover travel expenses for law clerks?

To the person that got an offer, first off, congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, by "second interview" do you mean the typical 6 person, grueling interview process at their office following some sort of OCI Interview? Also, how long did you wait in total after the interview for a decision? I am only a week out from mine, which is the only reason I ask...I do not want to panic quite yet haha

Re: Fragomen Del Rey
Thanks! And no, I had two of those 6 person interviews at their office. They called the second one a "final interview." It took them a little over two weeks to get back to me. After the first interview, it was well over 2 months to call for the final interview. My impression was that they will spend the majority of the spring making decisions (as in up until March), so no need to panic at all.Anonymous User wrote:To the person that got an offer, first off, congratulations! Hope that helps, and good luck!

Thanks for all the info! Very last thing if I could, are you based in the tri-state area? Bc I had to travel fairly far for my interview and they never indicated a 2nd interview would be a possibility one way or another.

The location I interviewed for was in the tri-state area, but I live out west. They did not tell me there would be a second interview, so it was a surprise to me that I needed to fly in again.Anonymous User wrote:Thanks for all the info! ^^^
Nothing here still, this wait is terrible. Is everyone waiting or has anyone gotten offers/acceptances. Interviewed quite some time ago.

Re: Fragomen Del Rey
Question, and not to be in any way more confident than we should....is it at all safe to assume that they have done most of their rejections already and are finalizing the summer class/tweaking here and there now? Maybe that while rejections very well still could happen, they are less likely now? I cannot imagine being rejected after 5-6 weeks with contact during that time, I truly hope not as I would really be pumped to work for Fragomen!!

Does anyone know how long the summer position lasts? Or the likelihood of getting an offer?
