Lit or Trans - which is more flexible?

I've heard litigation lawyers say they always have the option to do transactional work but not the other way around. Interestingly enough, I've heard the inverse from transactional lawyers. Which is more flexible? Where do the BK guys fall in to this?

I've heard of lawyers moving from one to the other, and I don't think there is a real bias as long as you can write well for purposes of litigation and understand business well for purposes of transactional. Back when I did my time as a summer associate the firm found my finance knowledge useful for litigation, so I was often "poached" from corporate.

As far as Burger King, it really doesn't have any role in this.
