Hi, does anyone have a sense for when we might hear about selections? And how many people they select from the pool of people they interview? I'm dying to get this job but I didn't think my interview went as well as I would have liked, and I wanted to hear what other people thought/know about the OCC Honors Program. Thanks!

They finished screening interviews and offered the callbacks. The callbacks should conclude by early November with a final decision being communicated right before or right after Thanksgiving. They're doing 40-50 in-office callbacks to hire 7 people.

Thanks so much! Can I ask how you know that they're hiring 7 people? Or when official notices are going on? Did I miss that on the website? Or were you told that during an interview?

I was told it during an interview. I don't know when official notices are going out.

I withdrew after getting an offer elsewhere, so I doubt I'll hear anything more from them. Certainly seemed like a desirable place to work though.

Any movement yet? I had my callback a couple of weeks ago and I am extremely anxious to hear back.

They have finished all interviews and have made their recommendations. I think the chief counsel is now making the final call and we should hear something hopefully this upcoming week or next!

Sure, it was someone who interviewed me.

Actually, I don't think they're making recommendations until the end of this week, so we'll have to wait longer.

Disappointing. Do we have more accurate numbers on how many were called back versus how many offers they are sending out?

For what it's worth, I didn't think my interview was great either. But you have to remember that they're not trying to woo you in the same way a firm is during a callback. I think the OCC interviews really are meant to gather information about the applicant -- the thinking on your feet part is great, but probably secondary.

Bumping this up to see if there has been any movement. My CB interview was nearly a month ago.

It looks like they hired 26 entry-level attorneys over the past two years - an average of 13/class. Should we expect this year's class size to be around the same?

The Arizona law school government handbook seemed to suggest that the twelve people they hired last year were more than usual. And when I asked, they said there is no set number. Its a function if the quality of the applicants and their needs. So... who knows.

I was told it will be 7 this year.

Anyone hear anything?

I don't know if official offers went out, but I was given an offer because I had other pending job offers that required a response. I don't know when they'll be telling everyone else. Good luck!

Congrats! Please keep us updated on what your decision will be! I know some have received rejection letters but I am still waiting to hear back. When was your offer extended? Additionally, would you please share your stats?

I already accepted! I heard last week.
