Care to say who? Was it one of the firms hit by Sandy? I was really hoping the lack of calls was because of that....
Same question.

I just accepted an offer from one of the firms listed on this thread, and my CB was less than 10 days ago... I know that Herbert Smith is looking for a commercial lit SA for their new NY office still, but I wasn't as much a fan of the position as what I already had.

Aren't they way along in the process at this point? I sent them my resume three months ago and never heard anything.

Different hiring process, the NY office only opened in September so they missed out on hiring SAs via OCI. Give them a try (they do seem to still be looking for people who struck out and have decent credentials for getting a big law offer though).

Did you get an offer from Herbert Smith as well? I interviewed there, so curious if offers went out yet.

Boies Schiller DC. I had it last week though I think I was the last of the people they were bringing in. Good luck to the person who got it. Great office.

Is Herbert Smith serious about only hiring from Yale, Harvard, Stanford, NYU and Columbia? In the beginning I thought it was joke, but they have certainly been ignoring my e-mail application and re-iteration of interest from a lower t-14.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
