Immigration Firms in NYC

I'm 2011 grad from non-regional, T2 school. Strong NY ties (grad/undergrad), but barred in other jurisdiction (not NJ or Conn). Decent grades, but excellent clinical immigration experience, and currently in immigration policy fellowship in DC and other unique immigration experience.
Trying to get a sense of the possibility of transitioning to NYC immigration firm or firm that has an immigration practice. I've seen the other threads about immigration firms in NYC, just wondering about strategies to trying to break into the NY immigration firm market. (Also considering taking the NY bar).
