2L here. I received an offer from a Chicago firm less than a week ago, which is currently my only offer. Since then, I've received a follow-up email from the recruiting coordinator and a phone call from the hiring partner.

I was planning on sitting on this offer for another week or so as I'm going through the interview process of another firm in DC (the market I'd like to work at).

How have you guys responded to these emails and phone calls without sounding rude?

Just say you're excited, you appreciate it, you'll let them know if they have any questions, and that you'll get back to them soon.
