any updates?

Had a cb about 4 weeks ago. Haven't heard anything yet. You?

CB a week and a half ago and nothing yet. Any thoughts? I know they gave out a few offers already, maybe they are just waiting to see how many of those candidates accept. I believe they said they had given out three offers and had one acceptance.

Since their summer class is so small (assuming they'll take 4 again next summer), they are probably very conservative in giving out their rolling offers. They'll probably wait for those two students to either accept or reject before giving out more. I know that the hiring committee meets every Tuesday. I wonder if they've given out any rejections yet, or whether they'll wait until the end and give them all out at once.

Did you send a LOCI?

Yup, and they said to let them know if I have any other offers with pending deadlines. Said I should hear back within 2-3 weeks, which is pretty much right about now. Wonder if they gave out any more offers after their hiring committee meeting today.

I would like to know that as well. They said I should know in one to two weeks from late last week. I hope they are just being conservative and have yet to give out more offers.

Also I think the hiring committee meeting day is variable. For example, I got my CB call on thurs.

Good luck to us OP! Your CB was still fairly recent, so you probably have a solid shot, and based on their response, you'll probably hear within the next week or so. Based on the response to my LOCI, I should've heard by now, so either I'll have a letter waiting for me in the mail within the next couple of days, or they're still waiting for the two students to either accept or reject. At this point I just want a yes or no (although would definitely prefer the yes).

What are people's stats?

Do they do status letters or do you have to inquire?

Not sure about status letter, how long did it take to get a response to your LOCI?

Nada. Probably quiet today because of Columbus Day. Hopefully there will be some movement by the end of the week. Do you guys know how many SAs they are taking next year?
