is their warning that you could finish the program without an offer just covering themselves for budget issues or a regular occurrence?

just curious, did you guys include a cover letter? I know the required materials didn't mention it...wondering if people did the federal resume rather than a cover letter

Pretty sure it said to include that application, but I am sure a cover letter would not hurt

pretty sure the HUD honors program is elaborate flame designed to see how many law students would actually print out and mail applications which will immediately be thrown into a furnace (of broken dreams).

I feel this way about MANY governmental agencies' honors programs... (which is to say, I feel your pain).

I think based on last year's gov. honors thread, HUD started contacting people for interviews in early Dec.

Pretty excited to see that someone from HUD apparently is viewing my linkedin. Excited because this means that my application was actually received, which the HUD honors program doesn't tell applicants at all.

I just got a call to set up an interview next week with a regional office.

I'm SO effing excited, HUD is pretty much my first choice.

I got an email this morning to set up an interview in my regional office. Pretty excited. Does anyone know if the office you interview in is the one you have to work in? The office I'm interviewing in is pretty much my least desirable office for personal reasons. Would it be appropriate at the interview to tell them that for family reasons my regional preference has changed? And tell them of an office that I do REALLY want to work in?

I can't seem to find any old threads on HUD Honors programs. I was hoping for some more info about what interviews might consist of, timelines, etc. Any ideas?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
