If you have any connections, use them to get a screener (although this would've been much better to do a month ago).

Wait, what? I got an OCI from alternate status, but was told so by my school's OCS and signed up for an interview through Symplicity like any other OCI. Does it still say you are alternated? I would email the firm and ask about it. I mean, my gut says they probably moved on and forgot to remove you from alternate status, but at this point you may as well just contact them and ask.

In the time you took to make and check this poast for responses, you could have edited and sent your form CL. Damn this thread is stupid.

Though it seems awkward. Don't they have my resume on file? Would the CL say in essence that they alternated me for OCI but I am available to come to the firm for a screening interview?

I would not mention ur OCI status in the cover letter. Just send it quick and cross your fingers that they still have summer spots open. Then send 100 more out to everyone who did not alternate your or come to ur OCI.

At best your looking at 15% of firms still giving out new cbs from mass mail so get your shit out there. I'm in a similar boat, I don't want to come out of this process wishing I did more.
